I saw this youtube. The video shows us a young girl. Her name is Emma. She is interested in Claude Monet's life and his paintings. Now, I will tell you some information about Claude Monet from the video. He was born in Paris in 1840. His father worked in a grocery store, and his mother a singer. When he was 5 years old, his family moved to Le Havre. Boudin taught Monet how he could use oil painting. When he was 16, his mother died. Then, he came back to Paris and lived with his aunt. He went to The Louvre in 1900. He copied a famous painting; it was painted by The Old Master. After that, he looked out the window and drew what he saw, because he didn't want to copy all paintings. He had a special way to see light and color. He drew many beautiful paintings, such as Women in Garden, The Thames at Westminster, The Stroll and more. After his wife died, he felt depressed. He never painted a person again. He died in 1926. In conclusion, Claude Monet is one of the greatest artists. Really, I am interested in his paintings, and the way he used to paint.


My Opinion

I would like to tell my opinion about this video. Really, I am intrested in this video. That is because the video has much good information. I think it is an integrated, because Emma gives me alot of important points about Claude Monet's life. In fact, I am interested in his paintings in the video. Many of them are very beautiful paintings. I agree with Emma; he had a special way to see color and light. He was interested in nature reflected and water. In conclusion, the video was fantastic. It gives me alot of information about Claude Monet. Ithink Emma will be a great artist in the future.

Norman Rockwell

I would like to talk about one of the best artists. His name is Norman Rockwell. He was born in New York City in 1894. When he was 14, he went to the National Academy of Design. After that, he went to the art students league. He had one brother;his name was Jarvis Rockwell. Jarvis was older than Norman by a year and half. Now, I will talk about his painting. He drew many paintings. they are very beautiful, so I want to talk about one of his paintings. The painting's name is southern justice. He drew this painting in 1965. Really, I am interested in this painting, because it has strong meaning and many details. He chose good colors for this event, and I think he used basic materials. I think he focused on the racism and the violence. He had many paintings, such as The Runaway, Golden Rule, Girll at Mirror, .....etc. He died in 1978. In conclusion, he had many beautiful paintings. He is one of the greatest artists, I have ever seen.

I would like to say my opinion about this painting. He chose good colors for this picture. This painting makes me feel sad and gloomy. I think he wanted to explain to us the Americans should work as one hand, and that there is no difference between white black and white people. Really, he had a great meaning. In conclusion, the theme was meaningful,and it is beautiful painting.

I would like to talk about this painting. This picture was painted by Norman Rockwell. Really, Iam interested in this painting, because it has strong meaning. For the painting he has many details like three pictures in one painting. I think he focuses on the woman painting in this picture, because he is near this painting. He copies the woman painting from the book. He draws a painting for some famous people in his country. I think he wanted to explain to us every artist has different way to draw. For his painting I think it is of photo realism art. This painting sold for 100,ooo dollars. For him, I read he sometimes was a happy guy but sometimes sad. In the end, he is one of the greatest artists I have ever see.
